High School Sweethearts get ENGAGED!
Hi Guys. I am Lorenda Howell of Lorenda Howell Events, here creating an experience to tell your story the right way. I want to tell you guys a love story about a cute couple.
Nud’a & Tremaine are getting married!!!
I’ve had the pleasure of know these two for a very long time. They started dating when Nud’a was in 10th grade and Tremaine in 12th grade at Youngstown Christian School. She was a cheerleader and he was a football player. They went to prom together and supported each other through high school commencements. Tremaine went on to join the Army National Guard Reserve for 6 years and studied Construction Engineering Technology while Nud’a studied Business Administration. They have since both graduated college and started their careers.
On May 22, 2020 Tremaine took a day off work and woke Nud’a up with breakfast in bed. She was a bit confused as it was about 9 AM and he is usually at work by this time. They spent the day doing all their favorite things, shopping, eating and enjoying each other’s company. Later that afternoon, they went home to check on the dogs and freshen up. Tremaine was nervous and getting antsy because he wanted the day to be perfect. She had no clue, because he does spontaneous things like this all the time.
They took a 90-minute car ride to a private airfield. When they arrived, no one was there! Tremaine starts freaking out and driving in circles and Nud’a is trying not to be too aggressive about them being “lost”. They see a place and she urges him to go in and ask where they are, he goes in and gets “clarity” (he made a phone call to the company he booked with). A few moments after he comes out the building a truck pulls up with a hot air balloon basket attached to it. At this point Nud’a is super excited but still has no clue, because this is normal for Tremaine to plan an elaborate surprise.
Towards the end of the ride, Tremaine gets down on one knee and pulls out a beautiful pear cut engagement ring. Nud’a starts to cry, and he asks, “will you marry me?” She responded “Well, duh!”
Later that night when they landed, they called their family and friends to tell them the great news. They are planning a fall wedding for 2021.
